ATOMIC
Wins Industry Accolades
We
are thrilled to announce that ATOMIC Magazine will be honored in
The Society of Publication Designers Annual for the third year in
a row…this time with FOUR entries!
The
Society of Publication Designers is an international professional
organization for magazine and newspaper art directors and graphic
designers. Since 1965, the Society's annual Competition has drawn
thousands of entries from around the world from such prominent publications
as Vanity Fair, Esquire, Rolling Stone and
Martha Stewart Living. This event continually provides a
venue for promoting and recognizing the best in publication design,
photography and illustration.
For
2001, ATOMIC received awards for the Ray Gelato story, photographed
by Todd Burris (Fall/Winter '01); the Hollywood Makeover by Bill
Phelps (Spring '01); Phelps' portraits of model Chevanne in a lace
wrap and standing in front of a vintage stove in the Fall/Winter
'01 lingerie fashion feature; and for the opening spread of the
Pearl Harbor story photographed by Dan Winters (Spring '01).
We
would like to extend a very special thank you to all our contributors
for their endless help, time, energy and passion. This is why we
push to do the best, so we can be honored by the best. |
