The great thing about this collection, besides being the first neo-swing CD compillation featuring 10 classic recordings from the best of the New York City swing scene, is that many of these recordings were cut before the participating bands had issued their own CDs. This gives you the rare opportunity to hear the original versions of their hits before they were repolished for the national swing scene. Features Jet Set Six, (then known as Beat Postive), Ron sunshine & Full Swing, The Camaros, Cresent City Maulers, Last of The International Playboys, and Set 'Em up Joe (who later went on to record the swing hit "Mr. Zoot Suit". A true gem!!
